Well after 4 plus years there had to be a first time.
For some reason I accidently deleted the images on the CF card before copying them over to my computer, but I would swear that I had seen the transfer pop-up transfering the images before I went to take more pictures and I am pretty sure they were all in one folder so it was not a case of downloading one and then forgetting the other folder, but it is possible that there were two folders, I just don't remember seeing the second folder.

The only saving grace so far is it was my smaller 256MB cards so at worst only 30-34 images are maybe lost. It could have been the 1GB card. To complicate matters My camera went over 20,000 images so the numbers changed in the middle from 9999 to 0001, and apparently on that card.

Anyway I am going to try out some image/data recovery software and hope for the best, since I did not reformat, I have much hope at this time.

Thought I would share.

Otherwise it was a wonderful sesssion with over 650 images taken (if I include the maybe lost ones)

Bummer. File Rescue Plus, from Software Shelf, works OK for me. Available for download from their website.

I ended up getting photo rescue after trying two other programs. The silly part is I have three Lexar cards, but never seem to get one with their software on it. Anyway photorescue works, images recovered, I am happy again. Interestingly it actually found two images that had been on the card since July and August from two previous shoots.
