I found, through another member on this forum, a really good WordPress gallery plugin. It's easy to install and customize.

Sorry if it's been posted before.

I think he the new version 2.5 of Wordpress is coming with a gallery feature built-in.
It's currently in release candidate (RC2) at the moment.

Looks great so far. I'm surprised it took WP this long to integrate a gallery feature.

WP 2.5 has just been released!

CLICK HERE (http://wordpress.org/download/)

This version requires PHP 4.3 & MySQL 4.0 or higher now - Shouldn't be a problem for most people

I installed RC2 on a test site after you pointed it out this morning and wasn't impressed with the gallery feature. I'm going to upgrade to 2.5 and stick with the plugin options for galleries.

WP is completely redesigned. Much cleaner than previous releases.

I'm now being told there is an upgrade available from my dashboards now...

I've installed 2.5 and it seems fine on my server (test install also) Seems to work ok with a couple of modified themes I use.
I haven't even found the gallery option yet.
I may hold off upgrading anything from 2.3.3 just yet though.

I've upgraded to 2.5 and am happy with everything except....the gallery function. It would be nice to have some documentation on it. I'll continue to use NextGEN as it works great. I'll wait and see what happens with the gallery funtion in 2.5.
