After 2 years of agonizing, I finally bought a used D30 for 1299 USD. Before this I was using first a Casio QV3000 then a Olympus 2100, but I look at my collection of Canon EF lens with EOS 33 sitting in the dry box doing nothing and decided that the D30, costly it may be will allow me to use my lenses which comprises of 24/2.8, 24-85mm, 35/2, 50/1.8,Tamron 90/2.8, 70-200/f4L. So finally I go for it! My next target now is to find a real wide angle solution (most likely non-zoom ).
I now have a problem. When I used my 380EX flash on it, some of the pictures looks underexposed sometimes. I have to dial in a +0.7 to +1.0 flash compensation to get a reasonable exposure. Is this a known issue?
