Too much contrast for my liking, especially the window in the back. To me it overwhelms the rest of the pic. I think if you cropped it down to more of a portrait, it would be better.

I feel as though they could use MORE contrast, especially in the first one. Everything is a shade of gray. The background is blown out, which adds to the washed out look. The second picture looks promising, try upping the contrast.
