Conk nailed it. What beautiful, consistent, clean, sharp, and seemly un-cropped images.

As a group I loved the sunsets, and envy their lack of urban intrusions (power lines, cars, et al.) and their inclusion of a subject (fisherman, boat, etc). The Emerald lake is my favourite, and here I like its balance. Another lake shot with cool blues is very special to me too (the reflected clouds).

These shots looks like slides to me. Of course the Elk (or whatever) are hard to believe since I cannot even get within shooting distance of a red Cardinal.

Overall, I am reminded again of the wonders of a good digital camera, in the right photographer’s hands.. + …the wonders of image-to-image tuning in Photo Shop. Those pot-luck photo processing days are over. Every image can be coddled – if and when required.

Great images man, did you use any add ons on your G2 when you took these or not? You know, added lenses etc etc.
