Picture Frames?

Hello Everyone!

How many of you make your own picture frames, or do just buy them?

I have a complete woodworking shop and am thinking of just making my own. The only problem is that it is nice to just go out and buy a frame already made with the glass and matting.

I cut my own mattes but framing is a skill I've yet to tackle.

Have a look at some courses local to you in regards to frame making - a lot of community learning centres around here run courses, you may well find that to be the case as well.

HI snatiep! I have a small incomplete wood shop but am going to try my hand at pic frames...just another sneaky way for me to get more stuff from the CFO :)

I also have enough wood working stuff to do, and intend to try my hand at it someday. *sigh*, yeah... someday... like so many other things.
