Well I was at Brands Hatch all weekend, yep both Saturday and Sunday. Busy stuff, but it's good to see the BTCC is stronger than ever. Saturday was a bit miserable but Sunday was actually quite nice, bar a minor shower during BTCC Race 1.

I do like the BTCC "package", the Ginetta Juniors were good fun, close racing but the Porsches and SEATS really need bigger grids!

I was using the 40D and 100-400 mostly, ExiF data in tact if it floats ur boat!

Anyway enough talk here's a few compressed "forum friendly sized" photos, pretty much chosen at random...

SATURDAY:

#1 Frenault zooms through Surtees... quite an underused angle this one... I quite like it just don't seem to bother going there much...

#2 SEAT's...

#3 Interesting "line" through Paddock Hill Bend...

#4 Was really trying to do something a bit different, it's not easy, kind of like this shot of Mr Chilton through Paddock...

SUNDAY:

#5 BTCC 2008 is GOOOOOO...

#6 Clios were good fun as ever...

#7 The obligatory gridgirly shot...

I've not got round to putting many shots in galleries yet, will do this over the next few days. Comments welcome as always.

Cheers!!

Watching you get pushed out of the car park made my day Az.

Photos not bad either.

My laptop lunched itself last night so will be a couple of weeks before I can get the photos off the card!

Haha, u had top be right there didn't ya. Suprised u didn't whip out the cam and take a few pics :p Just as well that fella was there to give me a push, my slicks just weren't gripping at all  Seriously though, I bet some people got totally stuck

Bugger about the laptop, hope you didn't have anything too important on there, or at least it's backed up somwhere!

Cheers GKW, yeh Clios are always a highlight for me. First couple of laps are usually good fun, cold rear tyres etc

I'd literally just put it away in the bag otherwise I would have done. It was the royal wave you managed whilst revving the nuts out of it and showering the guy in mud. You annoyed him so much he wouldn't let me out the quick way :)

And yes, I backed *everything* up on Saturday night as I thought it was behaving funny. So I've lost nothing really except £65! And some arse ache re-installing Windows as it came pre-loaded and I don't have the CD!

Great shots Azza...#4 - always like seeing new angles and different shots and #5 - a classic race start shot are the mutts nuts for me...and for all that mud, we were lucky enough to get there early and park up inside the circuit by druids which meant we missed out on all that fun...

But we did see some peoples efforts as we passed the circuit main gate on the way back to the M25...

#1 and #5 are cracking shots.

And the gridgirly is pretty cool :)

Cant really fault the pics, but thats why your on the track side compared to us muppets who pay to sit behind a whacking big metal fence all day ;)

Az, daft question..

Have you got any static shots of the Team Dynamics cars showing the wheels ?. I'm considering a purchase :)

If not the Dynamics cars then anything with those wheels will do.

Cheers.
