I went out driving this weekend with a friend and we found this 80 year old cotton gin. So, I pulled out my Canon and started shooting. Comments please and thank you.

I like number two as well. It is neat to see an urban fixture like a gas pump apparently in the middle of nowhere. My guess is the pump is on or near farmland?I checked out your site; nice work. My only critical comment is that I found your signature and copyright symbol incredibly distracting to the point it detracts from your work. I am all about protecting your work, but could it be smaller or more modest?

Yes, the pump was on farmland soon to become another Dollar General once the land is sold.

The signature and copyright where big, sorry about that. I'll go smaller next time. :D

I Like #2 a lot also. Thanks for the comments everyone.

Yes, all the shots where done hand held. My next attempt I'm going to bring the tripod in.

Thanks for your comments Blazon.

As the others have said, #2 really grabs the eye.

I like number 1. So unusual, I have never seen a cotton gin before, and this is certainly quite far from what I thought it would look like.
