Which action-pack do you recommend?

Disclaimer...I have most of SK books and know how to do many things on PS and have a bunch of my own actions saved! :) So please no "Do it yourself" podium pounders please.

That being said...I did a shoot last week and netted $250 for about 2 hours of work. I always try to reinvest my $$ into my business. I'd like to use this $$ for some ACTION!!:twisted: ... and not the dollar bill kind...:o

I'd like to get some and be able to go in and investigate and tweak a bit to get what I'm after.

Which of these do/would you use/recommend/...why?

I personally have kubota---I think number 2. But I have heard good things about totallyradactions also. I would think it would be pretty safe to get kubota---but would suggest that you get the one you really like the best.
Let me know what you get and your thoughts.

I enjoyed the demo the Kubota guys gave at Photo Plus Expo but their tool is waaaaay too overpriced for a non pro like me. Maybe if they had student pricing I'd bite.

I would recommend the OnOne Phototools. You get quite a few of the Kubota effects in the OnOne package along with numerous others.

I never knew you could buy PS actions in sets.

I must admit though... they really aren't very impressive. most any of those actions wouldn't take much longer to do the 'long way' (manual adjustment) versus just pushing play. i do see a few useful ones, but it would be far too easy for any of these to become a crutch and to actually hinder any development of personal style and ability. this goes for standard PS filters as well.

if you do it manually, you will change over time. if you just use a preset it turns into a gimmick.
