After a couple of weekends off, it was time to invade a ski-hill for the second last race of the season. It was great to see everyone again, and hear the scream of the open mods up the hill. The track was changed to make it more technical and safer, and it also allowed some different shooting angles for me. It was still a challenge though, due to the ugly clutter of ski-lifts, light poles, hydro lines, safety fencing, etc.
The weather was great Saturday, with sunshine and warm temps, but Sunday eventually succumbed to cloud cover, but the rain held off till everyone had left.
Heres a couple that made it through editting.

Actually with the suspensions that they have now, they land as softly as a motocross superbike lands on major jumps. On the drive track the suspension is hidden above, and you don't see it making it look solid.
Great shots!!

Wow! Great shots. If you had a little more space left on top of the second one it would be magazine cover material.

Great shots!
You might want to consider getting some of the ground into the photo if possible (I know you said there was a lot of clutter). It might give a bit more perspective as to how high they are jumping and create a more dramatic effect.
