My sister is a pretty good golfer and plays for the University of St Francis in Illinois. I shoot these for fun and for her and my mom to have some pics. I shot one of her Jr golf association tournaments last year and it was Hot, nearing the 100 degree and humid mark. This weekend it was cold, wet and windy. She ending up winning with a score of 83 and I took a boatload of pictures and was solicited by one of the other schools so it was a good day for all.

1. My favorite shot of the day. My sisters team mate was is this bunker right next to her and tryed to hit a fairway wood out of here and hit the lip, my sister proceeded to try a fairway wood as well and here is the result.

It went out 10 feet past the bunker LOL

2. While the quality is not very good on this one, the shot was hilarious. It was a worm burner that skipped off the water and landing 15ft from the hole. Some guy walked by us and said "You can thank JC for that one" we died laughing

this image is heavily cropped the full uncropped version is in my flickr below.

3. My second favorite shot of the day. The opposing team hitting from the right side rough. I think it was her school that asked about the photos.

4. Last this is not a very well done shot technically, but this is my sister on the right and my cousin on the left(she plays on the same team) with their awards. I think my cousin took 5th.

IMHO,

I feel that the images are too loose, I feel that sports images have to be tight, not all, but majority of sports images look better when they are tight.

Framing, keep the rule of 1/3, most of the images are centered.

#3 looks kinda weird, her arms seems to be missing due to the background and it's hard to pick out the club unless you look hard at it.
