You never know what you might find back in the mountains. Taking a picture while wondering if you are going to get shot can be a bit unnerving. ;)

looks like the dark days have arrived for a old but lovely hard working truck :(
:confused:
I guess (wrongly) that 'shiner's' means two black eyes for headlamps
or maybe black everything and the lamps stayed clear ? lol
{ :rolleyes: }

Around the neighborhood where that truck was spotted, the primary source of income is still running moonshine. But the truck also has 2 spotlights....not a real common feature unless there was some special purpose for the truck...;) And of course, there is also your interpretation with the black rings around the headlights representing shiners! Lot's of choices...none more right or wrong than the other.:D

Nice processing on this shot.... I recognize the truck and boy oh boy do I remember the feeling of being worried about being shot.... wasn't quite so eager to jump out and shoot pictures in that area!!!!

And the primary potty was still an outhouse.... Still amazed at the 'new construction' one!
