20d charger problem?

when i got my 20d i was using my 300d charger(till i sold the 300d}.so i unpacked the charger,charged 2x 511 a 511a all genuine canon ok,i then went to charge a aftermarket 511 and nothing.no red lights at all.so i went to my mates house and tried it on his 300d charger,it charged it ok.put his genuine 511 on my charger allso ok, whats going on :cry:

interesting, I have 5 batteries and they all charge except one of them!!

yes, but others that I bought at the same time charge okay.
