Hi - I have some recovery software (Media Recover, MM card recovery). They only work with drives (with letters like E:, F:, etc.). I lost my memory card reader, and now I have to connect the DRebel directly to the PC. This time it appears as a camera, not as a drive in My Computer. Therefore, my recovery programs can't "see" the memory card. My question is: how can I make the DRebel appear as a drive, or is there some other recovery software that will recognize the camera? Thanks!

You might mention your operating system. That makes a difference.
However, with most Windows systems, you'll have logical drives and physical drives. If you have the memory card out of the camera and plugged into the card reader, then that will be recognized as a drive. If you plug into the camera, you will always be dealing with it as a camera.
Since some card readers cost $10-20, it would be easiest to replace your card reader.
