Saw this awesome looking flower when I was in California. Took it with my good old 300D kit lens. My Sigma 105mm 2.8 comes tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be posting on the macro section a hell of a lot more...

I rather like this one, but for my taste, I'd crop a bit off the left (halfway from edge to first orange bit).

To me, the green area is too large and competes with the flower parts which are really quite nice.

I like this shot. My only comment would be that is that it's got a little noise, and could have a little usm to sharpen it up a little. That's just personal preference though, great shot. :)
