Landed on my pants and acted like a mantis. All I thought was now I get stung, but I was lucky. :)

very nice! i like the eyes. the powershot cameras, with the macro filters sem to produce nice photos..
i just need to get that raynox 250 macro filter.. its a bit cheaper than the canon ones.
i talk more about getting that lens...i cant talk about it anymore, til i get it.. :-)

i have seen some awesome shots...it is easy to get a full frame photo with that lens, reduces the need to crop....just call me the cropper til i get one...lol

which camera do you like best PowerShot or S5, no RAW on the latter I notice.

I still prefer the Pro1 for most of the bug macros (better quality of the lenses; some chromatic abberation with the S5), just for the smaller insects I use the S5 because of the magnification (12x zoom and 7x on the Pro1). For birds I use the S5 and have to try it on butterflies too, if I get the chance soon hopefully. So I don't have to get that close.
I tried once to shoot in RAW, but didn't see too much advantage, have to try it again.
