I was hoping someone would post up a couple of pics, were you shooting with a Nikon also, or were there two people up there shooting? Nice job though they look awesome. No 1 is my favorite, i like how you captured Max's tongue hanging out, i love how he does that. And i see myself in the last one...Oh, and how did you acquire a press pass if you don't mind me asking. I can get them at the Metro, through knowing people, same thing here for you?

You should be the house photog at this place. I mean most of your work is decent shall we say ...but these HoB sets have been just excellent.
I personally really love no.3...cool bg, cool Daniel Johnston t-shirt, cool guitar.

Awesome pictures, Say Anything has infected my head. I started listening a couple summers ago, and they seem to be all I can listen to anymore.

7 is truly stellar, the grainy b&w works so well.

Great set!
I'm having trouble picking my favourite but I really like #s 1, 6, 7 and 8.
What did you replace your stolen gear with and use for this set?

Richard, Joel's joined the dark side; he's shooting w/ a D3...f'in looks great, too! i think he's got a 24-70 as his main lens, but i could be wrong.

Ah, this thread is back from the dead. I seem to have a knack for that.
This was before my stuff was stolen, I borrowed my boss's D3 for a weekend and fell in love with it. The lighting at the HOB was spectacular, apparently it made me look like I actually knew what I was doing...
