Hello all!
I did my first 'proper' wedding in N Ireland as a gift to my best friend late last year and this weekend I just did my first 'proper' paid for wedding on a 30D and (mainly) 24-105 f4 in Bournemouth. Weather was typically British but we managed to have a brief respite from the rain for a few shots on Boscombe beach. I enjoyed the day! Here are a few photos attached, I'd appreciate any feedback! Thanks all.

I hope they're pleased with your results - there's some nice stuff here.

#5 is adorable.

#9 looks like you found them chatting and then they saw you, which I like, but since she's so much closer to the camera it makes her look considerably larger than her new husband.

Would have been nice if you'd had room for a longer lens on #8 since it appears to have a bit of wide angle distortion on the sides - perspective from further back would have helped I think.

I think I'd rather see detail in her face in #1 versus detail in the curtain, but since you got your other backlit exposures right, I'm assuming the dark shadows are on purpose.

Again, some nice stuff and I think they look like a nice couple.

Cheers,
Phil

There all great but in #8 the bridesmaids look a little awkward half sitting on the arm chairs. Since you can't see a lot of the couch it looks like they are trying to be short. But anyways I really like them all.

Thanks for the input guys
I see your points on the pics and will bear these in mind the next time- esp the sofa arms- now you've pointed that out it really annoys me that I didn't spot that!!
I hope they'll be pleased- I'm still working through them editing but will get there soon
:-)

Some anal things

2. You cut off the end guys shoes. But I really like the arrangement.
7. She's not looking at the camera.
8. A little overexposure with the windows on the left.

The pictures look great. Nice job.

I really like #5 but it's a bit soft
