My younger brother got married this past weekend and even though I was in the wedding and they had hired a pro, I thought I'd try and take a few shots. Of course, I couldn't shoot when I was in the photos, didn't have much (read any) control of the poses (which might have been a good thing) and did my best to stay out of the way of the paid photog(s) so my angles aren't always the best. Still some PP to do and would appreciate some C&C.

Thanks for looking.

Edit - I modified the title so it doesn't suggest that I was asked to be the main photographer while in the wedding.

I have always said that sometimes, it's nice to get photos other than what the pros can give you. Nice shots. Don't apologize. It's great to get some different views than the pro's. (And I shoot weddings.)

I think they will be pleased to get more shots from their special day. I like number 1 but I would suggest straghtening it and cloning that bright spot in the top right corner....thats being really picky though LOL!

Thanks for the comments. I'm sure they will be glad to have more/different shots, as well.

I'll try those suggestions with #1. I think it still needs some more color/levels adjustments, too.

BTW, I enabled 'image editing ok' if anyone feels the desire to try anything with them.

Also, I know that 2 & 3 would have benefitted from shallower DOF. I was constantly handing off my camera to someone else who was also shooting and settings kept getting changed.

Made some minor updates to #1 as suggested.

Also, I tried to change the thread title, but only succeeded in changing the title of the first post.
