besides dell will let you purchase camera equipment on credit. I am looking to get a Canon 70-200IS, but with xmas around the corner I would rather purchase the lens with credit. Thanks.

Most on-line stores will let you use a credit card. Are you asking about separate credit arrangements?

I bought my 100-400L on credit from B&H, just went out, found a 0% interest card for 12 months, a week later I had the card, bought the lens and in the 4 months since have paid it off. No shame in that at all, especially when it's 0% interest!

It's the only way to go!

Well I just turned 30, but through 7 yrs of marriage 2 kids and a nice house, it's amazing how easy it is to get credit. I applied for 5k and they sent me a card with a 32k limit. Who the hell needs 32k in credit card debt?
I think it's CitiBank that advertises the slogan 'Live Richly' There's just something wrong with telling people to 'Live Richly' on what is probably going to be high interest credit. 'Live Richly for today, live poorly for the next 10 years' is more like it!
I like credit, when taken in moderation.

Hi insurancepi,
Just a note about the Canon EF 70-200 L 2.8 IS. I purchased this lens in September. The lens was defective right out of the box. I have to send it in for repairs. If I had to do over again I would have purchased the Canon EF 70-200 L 2.8 without the Image Stabilization. For the extra money the Image Stabilization it is just not worth it.
Note to other forum members this is just my opinion, please don't make this a heated debate.

I purchase everything using credit. I usually pay it off at the end of the month however, and only use one credit card. Don't wanna be too deep in debt.
