Ill keep It short and simple and delete as soon as I get a good answer. Is there a downside to resizing and adding more pixels in PS? I just realized that I put a 8.2 MP megapixel image to 24.3 on accident, and saved it. Is there any harm done? Or can i just forget about it and not worry? I need Ginuine Fractals 5.....
Thanks,
Chris

Do you mean you upsized when processing a raw file? If so, what's the problem? Don't you still have the Raw file?

The only downside is you are now using up a lttle more space on hard drive than you need to.

From 8 Mp to 24 Mp is a 3x increase but that is square area. Linearly it is only a 1.7 increase. It is generally considered that up to 2x does only minimal harm, so don't worry.

You saved a TIFF or PSD? No harm done, except wasted disk space.

So there wont be any weird quality issues or anything? Cause these are a couple of my favorite shots.

There are a number of different ways you can resize your images in PS; by default I have PS configured to bicubic because I typically reduce my image size.
How do you have PS configured?
Go to Edif/Preferences/General and check to see what your image interpolation is set to.
