Trying ISO 1600 and need to reduce noise. It's very apparent at full size.

Should I just shoot at a lower speed like this one?

Why do you feel you need to use ISO 1600?. The first 2 shots look like you had fairly good light so i can't see any reason to shoot at such a high ISO setting.

I'll echo Geoff's question. Are you using some daft ultra-high shutter speeds? 1/320th is more than fast enough for anything up to and including an F1 car coming straight at you. Anything much faster and you get those uber-boring "parked on the circuit" shots.

I'm really just testing out some settings, and have never gone that high. If that's what I should expect, then I'll avoid it.

I was out there shooting 1/100 to 1/80 and had ISO at 100..why so high?
