Great action on the high jump - you caught her at a perfect moment. The relay runner is well exposed, nice shot.

That blue is amazing for a uniform. I love it, and you captured the color so well. I love the high jump one, but I feel the full face head onish of the sprinter would have made it a tad bit better, but it is a good photo as it is.

I like the high jump capture.
I shot track & field for the first time today.
Shooting runners doing anything but sprints just doesn't trip my trigger.
Any suggestions for make shooting distance runners more exciting?

My best luck with action shots of distance runners is to get them in the last 100yards. You can also get some very emotional/dramatic shots of them in the first 90 seconds or so AFTER they cross the finish line.

Yea, think of how much more work they do than sprinters.

Dave Coming out of the first turn...............they are still pretty bunched up and jockying for position. End of the race, a little more anguish on thier faces.
