I asked this in another thread but thought I get better advice in here. I have another wedding to photograph in 19 days from now. I have done weddings with a 100-300 so I don’t know what I’m worrying about here but my gear is a 30D (XTI as a backup) and I have a 70-200 F4 L (non IS, never needed it) an 85 F1.8 and a nifty fifty. I DON’T do church weddings, the weddings I have to do this year are all outdoor occasions.
My problem is I keep thinking I should sell the 70-200 L and the 85 and just get a 70-200 F2.8 (non IS, all I can afford) as replacement. I’m kind of unsure if this is the right thing to do as the 85 is great in low light and I’m sure the F4 will do OK. I’m torn here. I’m not sure if I’m just trying to justify a new lens purchase or if I can do the job with what I already have. I like to hand hold and the 2.8 may be more work (I know how much technique is required to handhold my 400 prime)
What would you do?

Generally the weddings I do are in great light or too bright as in the following photos shot some time ago that were all done with a 100-300 lens I’ve long since sold. But good light is not always the case.
