Today (well not today anymore since it's 2am here now) I shot Ann & Scott's wedding. Very lovely couple; they look in love very much. Wedding was in The Manor in Everett, WA. Wonderful place, beautiful landscape. C & C welcome!

10. Ann's dad was diagnosed with a brain cancer. It was a very emotional moment.

After I uploaded all the pictures I realised that I forgot to sharpen them before saving, so they might look soft. Since it's late now and I am glad I am done editing, I'll go to sleep and redo them later. The originals are very sharp.:) To see more go here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/21243056@N06/ Thank you for looking!:)

Great shots, the lighting is very good on all of them. I'm sure they'll be pleased.

I think you have nice focus and clarity. I see a green cast on all of them. Also, did you burn the first one? I can see haloing around the couple.

Yes the first one was burned. It was a quick edit. The monitor I use for PP is calibrated and pictures look ok on that monitor. I went to work today and checked the pictures on 5 computers, 1 is calibrated and the rest are not. The calibrated is showing the pictures fine, 3 others showing them fine as well, but one has a green cast. Is there anybody see a green cast with calibrated monitor? Feedback is greatly appreciated!

So does anybody else see the green cast? Thank you for your comments!:)

Solid work, looks like a tough venue to shoot as there doesn't seem to be anything white to bounce/diffuse off of. On the processing side, the images seem a little "cool" to me and number 8 looks kinda blue and #10 is a little yellow/warm.

Nice set of shots! You can see the emotion on #10 - maybe try cropping it to be more focused on their faces?

I have a fully callibrated monitor and I definitely see a yellow/green cast ...... hit me instantly !

On all of them? I know #10 is a little yellow, but that's how it was there. The rest looks fine. I probably should change my calibrator. I am using spyder2...

Thank you!
I have a close up shot of the moment as well. Somehow I like this one. It shows that no one was around and they are having a very private moment.

What kind of flash did you use in there....that is the question. I say, that for that high of ceiling that is wood beams and dark color you did an awesome job. I still want to know what type of flash you used and how. Difficult venue.

It's always tricky in those halls and the natural wood is sometimes wonderful for skin tone and other time, really bad. So, I think you did a good job. The couple should be happy. The shots were clear and very sweet.

I used Canon 580EX II. The thing is I don't think I'd be able to bounce the flash off the ceiling because the color cast would've been aweful. I used direct flash dialed down and higher ISO's.
