Well my B and G chickened out on jumping in the lake....the wanted to at about 11 but I told them it was not a good idea that late they could get hurt. The groom did decide to have the ceremony out in the rain without telling the bride so she was quite surprised to be walking out into the cold rain.

Here are a couple of images for CC please let me know how I can improve them.

Not bad, the second picture looks strange to me, like she is dancing on the floor or something. Just not sure what her arms are supposed to be doing like that.

The 2nd shot usually works better if you are directly over her. More like in the 3rd shot. Try to fill your frame with shots like that. Most brides and the MOBs like to have a nice relaxed close up of the bride. That shot works well for that. Watch arm pits and cleavage when you have a bride lay down.

Thanks, I realized about the arms I was on the other side of the pride which made her arms look huge so I switched sides, I am not quite there with making her arms feel elegant.

That clubhouse looks so familiar. Is that a Golf Course here in Ohio?

The image of the couple on the floor while not technically excellent is wonderful ... I would never have thought of that but it really allows for a deep sense of intimacy and love.

i would prefer the photo portray the wedding in rain... more shoots that shows the raining day and etc... so they'll always remember their moment.. having a wedding in a rain...

the portrait session, imho, the carpet too distracting to me... the last one... dont have any others place? the place is to messy...

Well done! I too like the one with both of them on the floor, head to head. Sweeeeet! :)

Nice images on your site too, you've got some good work there! I bet you've got some happy people behind you, huh? ;)

The golf clubhouse was the only place for portraits, I did not look at the location beforehand since it was 2 hours away, (it looked much better online) The restaurant in the club was not very attractive either which I was surprised since down in Virginia Beach they have quite a few nice clubhouses to golf coarses. Your right the store was very messy, but they wanted fun and relaxed shots and the place really had no ambiance, boy I wish it wasn't raining.

Personally. I've seen alot of really amazing shots with the bride and groom head to head, on a really great back ground. To me the carpet caught my attention in a good way. It may not be photo perfect. But this is the place they were married..and thats the way the carpet looked.. there is something so intimate about knowing that.. it seemed really personal. i thought it was a great (wedding) touch.

Here is one more fun shot. I know I need to work on my exposures I seem to struggle in this area.

Don't suppose you got a shot of them facing one another, with her holding 2 golf balls in her hand at a strategic level? LOL

I think you used wrong lenses and settings. Everything would've worked much better with shallow DOF. Backgrounds are just too busy and take your eyes away from the couple.
