My take from the Red Dragon Rally very well run event even with it being dropped from the BTRDA, spot on day and with the plus point of it only being 20 mins from home lol
First time out with the Canon Eos 40D (1D MK2 is dying slowly, needs the focusing to be re-calibrated) took some getting used to strangely enough but once i figured some settings out the shots producing were mint!
here are a few, all shot with the 40D and the 24-70...
#1 A MK1 on maximum attack

#2 Peter Egerton on a big drift this is shot 5 out of 8

#3 Bill Gwynne on it big time even with a puncture, cropped this on a different angle to give an effect of him pulling out of this drift. on 2nd thoughts i think i should of not cropped it.?

#4 Bob Morgan setting it up for a big drift, I like this more than the drift ones of him for some reason.

#5 Sebastian Hack in a typical MK1 pose, Wheels pointing in the opposite way to where your going = SIDEWAYS

#6 My favourite take of the rally, 8 shots of this beast drifting around!

#7 I saw the rear of this car before the front, lovely control to keep a big drift and avoid spinning.

#8 Even the Front Wheel Drove boys were having ago at the Slideways lark

Sorry 7/8 shots are from the same location but it was hard not to post them in fact it was impossible to choose those, virtually every crew had the same idea to be in maximum attack mode for a big drift! Top stuff!
As always all C&C welcomed.
