chomish, If I give you my email in a pm? Could you send me all your state pen shots?

By the way taps made it famous because it's haunted.

Well i dont know about sending all of them since theres over 100 of them, but here are two more. The seconed photograph is of the hole they made when escaping the place.

Taps made that hole?

And to the OP it's because I want to see some orbs.

I live about 20 min. north of this prison, it's always been known as being "haunted." I believe in ghosts, but I don't believe in TAPS

I believe that hole was made by the escaping inmates.
Until i actually see a ghost myself, i dont believe in them and never will.
I usually go to places off limits to most because they are abandoned and sealed.
I went out to E.S.P thinking this was the case with this spot.
I didnt like the fact that many areas where closed off to the public, and the place is just shy of being a tourist destination. I would have loved to have seen it as it was when it first closed down.

Nice shoots. The place is turned into a "Haunted Prison" for Halloween. It's a good scare. I love the history of the prison.

That first shot's got a great feel to it. Very movie-poster-ish.

I approve!

Did you just wander in to take these or were you on a tour or something?

I think the first one you posted is amazing.

Well this place was located in downtown Philadelphia. Theres no tour, they just hand u a little head phone player and your on your own.
You could just wonder in and take shots, although some of the jail is closed off because of severe deterioration .I would go one more time in the future, and definately carry a tripod this time.

That's scary!! Is this place open to the public? Man I wouldn't be brave enough to go in there and snap away by myself... you obviously never played "fatal frame"

I actually had a hard time leaving.
Its not really scary cause there are other people u see once in a while also snapping.
Only mistake i made was not bringing a tripod.

I have a bunch of shots from there as well, unfortunately - the visit to the location wasn't planned, so my gear really limited me from getting a lot of shots which I wanted to get.

Here are a few I did get:

We're taking the kids to Sesame Place (Lord help me) in August. I can't wait to get to E.S.P. and snap a few shots.
