and, before anyone mentions it...he might be an angel, he has a halo above his head...LOL

Love these photos.
The second IMHO needs a bit more contrast - I've adjusted the levels in the photo below and applied a slight vignette. As holy and angelic as he mey be I find the halo and lights a bit distracting in this case.

It even looks OK as a sepia - but I'd let go of the selective colouring if doing this.

I agree on the halo, the higher contrast one looks nice, but the sepia one leaves me a bit cold :) Thanks

Both nice shots but sorry, I don't like the selective colouring - bright blue against black & white really doesn't work.

I think if the B&G like the selective coloring, it's okay. Put it in an album with other pictures, it's not a bad thing.
I love the first one and will use a mirror this weekend for the ring shots as well. Should be good.

The selective color seems to be one of those things that people either love or they hate, in their case they seemed to love it, many customers seem to love it, either way I have many shots some awesome, some simply ok...but when they saw this one from a previous wedding, they booked me on the spot:

I dont think its the best shot I have ever taken but it was a fun shot, and the selective coloring set it off. the shot for this post feels the same way to me, what can I do, I'm pretty flexible :) not everything is black and white, there's some gray in life too :)
If the customer likes it than I'm happy.

The ring shot is awesome, very sharp and superb colours.
The second one is good too, except for the selective colouring.

when I saw the mirror placemats on the tables I just had to use them, I'm glad it worked out.
