So I had nothing to do Sunday and decided to detail the **** out of my car:

Wash and Dry
Clay Bar
Cleaner Wax
Swirl Remover w CSS Orange Light Cut Pad
Wax with CSS Gray No Cut Pad (Meguires Yellow #26)
2 Stage Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner on seats
Vacum and detail interior

I am pissed, I have like an omen when it comes to shooting my own car, something always goes wrong....This time one of the flashes was totally dead and NONE of my other batteries were working for it....So I only got one picture with both flashes and it was a test shot....Hopefully I can do a shoot under the right conditions soon. So I took these basically to just show how smooth the paint is now haha. Oh yea any my action to resize and watermark my pics freaked out and some of them are all messed up.

Nice pictures. I'm not really digging the ambers in the last picture, you should try smoked corners instead :)

The amber looks good in the pic but I dont believe it would look good in person. wont be hard to find someone to swap with you on e46fanatics. What color is your car is it Individual?

I believe that is Interlagos Blue. And these pics make me wish it was warm enough here to detail my coupe. I love doing that first detail of the year and then taking the subsequent pics. Great car, very nice job with the detail and then capturing the work in images!

No, the car is a BMW Individual Car in Avus Blue and no sun-roof.

Good luck finding one ;)

You can probably find one somewhere but only a few were ordered in this color. It was not a standard color and had to be ordered through the BMW Individual Program.

Couldn't you have skipped the cleaner wax because the claying should've taken off any previous layers of wax already.

No you use the cleaner wax AFTER the claying to get any dirt or grime left over from the clay bar.
