There are those among us that make a decent living doing stock photography.

What kinds of subjects do you find that sells the best?
When you take these images, do you make composition adjustments knowing it will be a stock image?

I recommend a copy of The Photographer's Market which is a yearly publication by Writer's Digest Books; F&W Publications.

This publication has lots of information on selling all types of images - from Stock Photos to Magazine Illustrations. Included are submission guidelines.

I would definitely get a recent copy of this publication. Older dated copies might have erroneous information from the ever changing world of digital imaging.

Note, there are sometimes con-games revolving around the pseudo stock photo business. The con-men (or women) ask for money to include your images in their library. There is no library and you are out your initial investment.

Best of luck....
