To basically give some background on what I'm working with-
A friend of mine a while back set up her camera on a timer to take some pictures of herself to send to her boyfriend (at the time) who was stationed in Iraq. Nothing very risque, but showed a little skin. Anyway, she knows I do photography and image manipulation and had asked me to touch them up some since she had some skin blemishes and wanted me to basically give her the look that a playboy model might have, or other models that get heavily airbrushed in advertisements and essentially alter their real look.
She was happy with the results, although I felt they could have been better.
Anyway, fast forward, and her cousin wants to to a photo shoot, with some partial nudity to put into a portfolio for some modeling she wants to get into. My friend had shown her the pictures I edited and she liked them and wants me to do some editing on hers, but she wants them to just be touched up and get the best quality possible, but still look essentially untouched (or "real"), which I need some pointers in. Since we haven't met yet and she's just starting out, she still feels slightly self-conscious in front of the camera with someone she doesn't know doing the shooting and won't let me do the photos myself just yet, just the post processing... so I'm not entirely sure what kind of quality I'll get to work with for now... later on when I take them myself I'll know what to expect more.
Sorry for the rambling, but basically, I don't know exactly what style shots I'll be getting or of what quality... but all that aside, from what I gather, she wants me to mainly touch up her skin and make the colors come alive in the picture, etc... Does anyone happen to have any tips or links to sites that discuss post processing modeling photos in general? I know my way around Photoshop (CS) very well for web graphics purposes, but am still learning it for photography purposes. If anyone could provide any info at all, I'd be most appreciative.
