The dealership that supplies these is close to my parent's house. They have a lot to the side that has ~150 of them all lined up in neat rows getting ready for the month of May :D!

This is the first Pace Car since '98 that I have said I really REALLY would like to see in my driveway.

I believe it actually is a Z06.
Kinda weird this year, there are two actual pace cars for the Indy 500. The one shown above will be used during the race and is a commemerative 30th anniversary version painted like the 1978 Pace Car. The other is a prototype Z06 with an E85 engine. The press release about the pace cars is found here: http://www.indy500.com/news/story.php?story_id=10346. Unfortunately, the release is vague as to whether the black and silver 'Vette is a Z06 but the E85 prototype is certainly a Z06.
Edited: Actually now I see that the Z06 isn't available as a convertible so I guess that clears up my confusion. This is NOT a Z06 apparently.
