Somehow the mirror on my Drebel has a cloud on it. It appears like maybe there was some condensation on it, then it dried and left a cloudy film on it. Is this something that an amateur can clean off, and if so, How do you go about it. I seem to have misplaced my owners manual, so if there is one online, could someone provide a link? Thanks.

Firstly, the mirror isn't like the one in your bathroom, it has what appears at first sight to have a hazy look about it. Secondly, you should not touch the mirror as the coating is on the surface, not on the back as you may expect.
If everything looks fine through the viewfinder, you don't have a problem.

Don't touch your mirror with anything but clean air.
If it is bothering you, take it to a service center and have them clean. That way they can replace the mirror if they scratch it.

D*mn. Looks like that entire camera needs to be run through the wash. I'd be more worried about a dirty sensor than the mirror.

It sure looks like it's time for a trip to the Canon Service Center...........I wouldn't think about doing that myself.
