But the dang thing was taken with a Nikon D1x and AF VR Zoom-Nikkor 80-400mm f / 4.5-5.6D ED.

Imagine what they would have had if they had used a 1Ds MkII and a 400 f/2.8 L IS? :P :P

Too bad they didn't clean the lens! If you zoom in on the steeple that juts above the horizon in the middle of the image you can see 4 large dust bunnies to the right.

And they didn't follow the rules of thirds at all! (j/k)

Pretty impressive, actually.

You can also see it's 3:05. Pretty cool! :D

look at some of the cars/people....i think the guys who did it need to work on their stiching a bit. I saw a car w/ no tires and a man with no legs.

Yes, funny - the guy near the zebra (close to the TPG post office) on the long road starting from the right side has no legs and further there is a half car and a car without tires. I can see the identification numbers of almost all the cars in the close view.
I can see also further the city center of the Hague with Grote Kerk, part of Vredespaleis, Hoftoren(142m), Central Station, Sapphire tower and the buildings of TNT, TPG POST, KPN TV tower, Prinsenhof, etc. I can see even a view from Scheveningen (at about 14-15 km)!

Cool!

Greetings,
Roumen
