...but one night after I turned the light swich off, I realized that my watch seemed brighter than usual, and after a few on off switch experiments it dawned on me!! I know this is pretty silly, but i never really thought of how phosphorescent particles react until I saw my watch. My understanding originally was that light only reflected immediately and not through delayed reradiation.
So I just wanted to show that effect through a picture, that's all. :idea: :wink:

nice pic, and nice sig too.
do you mean then, that the light emitted is not at its brightest immediately after the ligts are turned off? If that is the case, then I never realised either.

Thanks Molydod. I Believe that light reflected continues to diminish through reradiation, but I imagine that it is at its brightest while main source is still on. When you turn main source off, it continues emanating light for a good 30 sec or so. I found this to be mind blowing. I can honestly say I don't fully comprehend.
