Great shots !!
Where you behind or in front of the fence ?

Thanks, yes you are corect, also using a 1.4x TC on some shots. I was behind the fence.
And ISO 50!
Very handy to have ISO50, I was shooting wide open to take the fence out of focus, ISO50 helped bringing the shutter speed down a little, not enough though:(
Cheers

Some good shots there Nick....Friday was great....hardly anyone there and probably the best day of the 3  , shot No 1 for me, Hailwood Hill offered some nice angles.
I tried inside of Druids and at Surtees on friday, but camera speeds too high, so had to go back on saturday and have another try....Hawthorns and Westfield weren't bad on saturday either

Can you get nd filters for that lens? if so worth while getting 2 and a 4, i find sometimes its better to use them on a slightly higher iso to get more detail in the shadows.

Thanks Peter, I only went Friday, didn't bother going Sunday because of the snow!

Good thinking, looks like ND filters are available for the 300mm f/2.8 IS so I'll give one a go.
