17-40mm (L) is in the mail

I tried the 24-85mm, wasn't wide enough. Bought a 18-55mm kit lens and it wasn't all bad but I wanted better quality. I then ordered the 17-85mm IS and it was less than satisfactory, sent it back. Considered the Drisley special, the Tokina 17mm :) , it got great reviews here but mixed reviews elsewhere :D got a job shooting pic's at the local science museum model RR show and I still needed a lens!!! so the Canon 17-40mm (L) is in the mail. I should have listened to you guys sooner :? It sure would have saved time , cost and trouble. I always knew this is where I was headed but just had to do it the hard way :lol: :lol: :lol:
