100mm Macro + 420EX = What Diffuser?

So I am searching and my eyes are bugging out of my head (pun intended ;)).

I am looking at getting a 100mm Macro to use on my 30D. I am wondering what would be the best or a very good diffuser to use on my 420ex with it.

In the future I might go for a ring light or something more advanced, but for starting off into my journey into macro I would prefer to use my 420ex ;)

i got the stofen one but been trying to get some thing better. seen some good work with the gary fong one. i think macro junkie and dalentech use those. look in the macro rigs archive.

Thx for the tips. Do you know which gary fong in particular? There are quite a few he makes.

Also what dont you like about the stofen?

Do you mean diffuser for macro shots or in general? Because I don't know much about specific-macro photography diffusers, but for regular flash LumiQuest ProMax kit (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/71262-REG/LumiQuest_LQ932D_ProMax_Accessory_Kit.html) works really well.

sorry i didn't see the second question. i didn't like the stofen cause the light was still pretty harsh. wanted a softer looks to it. especially when i'm shooting ladybug or any insect with reflective body.

it was the puffer one not sure how it would fit on the 430 though. i saw some pic of them being use on the speedlite.

So not the lightspheres? The puffer I can only find for the popup flash on his site.
