Rough Rails

Last weekend we took a ride into the White Mountains in New Hampshire and ended up at the base of the Cog Railway.

We don't see much track like that around here. I don't think we have any branchlines or industrial sidings within miles. You do wonder how trains stay on those rails.

What a cool shot. They are amazing rails and I cant believe they use them. Nice catch and thanks for sharing.

WOW, those look like rodeo rails. I would like to see if something could stay on them for 8 seconds.
