Anyone else try this yet???

I am EXTREMLY happy with this service plus it saves me $40 dollars a month....

I have only one complaint with it, When there is a silent pause I can hear data transmissions being passed.... No biggie, I'm going to get a filter from my buddy that he got with his DSL install kit and if that doesn't work I'll build my own...

Be careful. I've seen some DSL services stopped by a noise suppressor on the line (typically found in the junction box where the service enters the structure). The noise you hear might be impulse noise, which has been present on all POTS lines since the time of Strowger.

This isn't a noise supressor, This is the actually filter that is given with the DSL install kits, Basically since DSL is multiplexed, all these do is allow the frequencies you want through for the phone or for the DSL. I had a service similar when I was in Virgina with Cox Cable... They had DIGITAL telephone service and basically it was the same thing... Instead of them giving you the router box they attached it to the side of the house and put on a few filters for you... I loved it... Now, I just have to figure out the right filter combo!!!
