I looked out the front door this evening and saw this guy browsing in the "yard".........shot him at 3200 ISO, the first time I've gone that high......It's not perfect but I'm happy.........

Hey, if it gets the shot...

And I would've been crying if I had missed a shot at him. He's a beaut!

Is that a young Mulie? We don't get to see any of those here on the east coast.

That's a great shot at ISO 3200. Very impressive.

Last weekend I was out in my yard and a huge 8 pointer (huge by New Jersey standards) went cruisin right by me chasing down a doe at full speed, less than 20 feet away. Scared the crap out of me, and of course I didn't have my camera either. I went in to get my camera (and change my shorts) but that was the last I saw of him.

You didn't have your camera on you when the dear ran past? That'll teach you a lesson ;)

I had tests I did from iso 100-3200 on my PC, which i'm not near right now. I'll post them up in a few days. It's of cars travelling at 50kmph, the difference between 100 and 3200 is amazing - although that's not suprising. It's grainy, but sometimes I jack up the ISO for the effect.
