So I made the long treck to the city to purchase a monopod and of course a ball head for my camera.

My old Vivitar tripod is pretty heavy to tote around so I sprung for a Manfrotto 482 Micro Ball Head and a Manfrotto 680B monopod...sigh I get all the way home and discover the screw is too big to use with this camera:evil:

So does anyone know what will fit? My old Vivtar does. The shop I bought it from will be closed on Sunday and I won't be able to get back there until next weekend so I'm hoping to resolve it and order what will work before then.

Thanks

I think that your head has the converting bushing on it - try to remove it and you will discover that the actual screw fits your camera. The bushing looks like this (http://www.hama.co.uk/portal/articleId*2809/picType*abb/action*2599?picURL=%2Fbilder%2F00005%2Fabb%2F00005 120abb.jpg#picture).
