How in the world can one of the cheapest DSLR's on the market have the highest sync speed? Faster than 1D or D3.:confused: 1/500 would be nice outdoors.

It probably uses "electronic shutter" for such high speed. Canon did it too with old 1D which used CCD sensor and could go up to 1/16000s and flash sync up to 1/500s.
