I've been thinking about starting a creative edit challenge for a while now, but not sure how many of you will be interested...? I fell in love with the before and after challenge, but find myself always wanting to add things to the photos or turn it into something else... I realise however, that the point of that game is to learn new editing tricks in order to improve existing photos.

So my idea is to start a challenge where basically anything goes (if the moderators agree only, if not, please delete)..... The original mood or concept of the initial photograph does not matter. Try/learn new techniques and see what you can come up with... Let the creative juices flow!

Anyone oddballs out there willing to give it a go? :)

Same rules as B&A:
-"Image editing ok" turned on
-48hrs editing time
-Simplified breakdown of steps taken
-Reserve comments till after winner is announced
-Winner posts next photo

Add a few:
-Jot down the editing software used
-Non photographic material accepted

If I left out anything important, please let me know....? If there's some interest I will post the first photograph for editing as Creativity challenge #1.

I am absolutely interested SQiP!!
Has this started??
However the only thing I'd change in your rules is the "Simplified breakdown of steps taken". Personally I'd like to see a complete break down. Not as much as a tutorial... there are millions of those out there to look at. But something a little more complete then what people write in the B&A challenges.

I'm interested also, I always went over the top on the before/after comp, this would be fun ;)

Sweet! Great to see interest :-) ....this can get pretty crazy!
Ok, I'll edit a couple rules (agree ilmk) and post a starter pic. If it goes slow in the beginning it's ok.
