Marcia and I were walking around by the lake the other night contemplating the upcoming Holiday meals. Last year we went to John and Jens for Turducken (http://www.thesalmons.org/lynn/turducken.html).
Turducken (warning: salty language!) (http://www.blacktable.com/turducken031217.htm) is "a dish, usually served around the holidays, that is made by cramming a boneless chicken into a boneless duck, which is stuffed into a boneless turkey. Three kinds of stuffing are layered between the three kinds of meat and the monstrosity is cooked for a very long time. The end result, when cut, is a fantastic food rainbow that must be eaten to be believed."
In other words, Laminated Poultry!
Anyways, as we were walking talking, we saw a mini-migration across the sidewalk. It struck me that this guy must have heard us and is hightailing it outta there! I just love the "Slowly we turned, step by step" sort of look he has.
So here is the shot. Yes, I know that it is dark and sort of reddesh, but, it was dusk and that light was real. I was Kelvined as far as I could, so I am keeping the color. Any comment please, you know, mood, subject, balance, composition, or ANY thing else you can think of.
Thanks,
Rad
