Howdy,

Just found one online for £25 Buy It Now...after losing 5 auctions on Viv 283s....I bought it, to pair with my 283. At least they come with manual power already!! Seems a good enough little unit for the price, can't really complain

Does anyone know if the external battery connector will accept just 6V or must it be high voltage? I'd love to brew up my 6V SLAs into something useful!!

The external power connector on the 383 expects a high Voltage source.

just got my 383 a couple days ago. my first external flash.
