Im getting the 100mm MAcro lens in a weeks time.

I MAY have some money to spar afterwards. I was looking at the 50mm f1.8 but I've dismissed as i've seen too many claims about it ebing fragile and having bad focus.

Will the above items fit? How do they work? Can i use them all at once?

Any test shots to show me examples?

Thanks.

Of they dont work then a link to cheaper/better/compatible tubes would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

yea those will fit and will most likely help if you aspire to do macro.

Many of us use the Kenko tubes. I have a set I use often. I think Jessops have their own brand of tubes but not sure what the price comparison to the Kenko ones is. The Kenko's are much better value than the Canon tubes. You are only paying for air and the Canon air in the tubes is a lot more expensive than the Kenko air.

Yeah OK.

Thing is i cant find them anywhere that has them in like 'stock'.

This is only the one and i wasnt planning on buying it for a while and this auction ends soon.

I've found others but they wont enclose how its shipped and i'd prfer Royal Mail...

Any ideas?

If you're new to macro, play around with the new lens by itself first. Macro can be incredibly fiddly and extension tubes makes it much, much more so.

The only big difference in the extension tubes from various sources is whether or not they accept EF-S lenses. The Canon mark II tubes do, the Kenko's have to be modified IIRC.

You want to use extension tubes with a 100mm macro lens? Why so? The 100mm macro lens works pretty well on its own. I think you'll be quite pleased with it.
