Hello :)

I purchased a bludomain template last week. I received an e-mail from them asking specifics about my hosting company. I replied that day (4.10.08) and have not heard a word from them since. Am I being impatient? The e-mail said that they would have my site built in 1 day and they she never misses a deadline. Hmmmmmm.....looks like she missed her first one. ;) I have read the threads and I knew going into it that there may be some issues. But I thought most issues came when hosting with them. It is really dissapointing when I am so excited to start building a site and I can't.

Many people have the same problems with Bludomain. Lack of email responses, bad contact, etc...

I feared this, so i sent them a blunt email upfront, and from the time I paid for the site till it was online, it was only 5 or 6 days...

Keep at them, keep putting in support tickets, asking where your site is, etc..

Sorry to hear about your frustrations. I don't know if its typical or not, as I've had good service with them for a few years now. Not great, but nothing like what you have experienced. I have my website set as my home page, so everytime I fire up Firefox, I get a quick check if my sites up or not. Over the last few years, I've only seen it not load a couple times, and if I wanted a minute or two, it was fine.
