It's that time of the year. End of year is near and vacation destinations are high on people's minds. On Nov 31, I took a trip to Sydney, Australia with just the 300D, 17-40L f4.0 lens, 1GB CF card and shot the entire holiday in Manual model.

Hello Miles and fellow members,

Sydney is a beautiful city and I wish I had brought more photo gear esp my EOS-20D, tripod and flash. I just wanted to share my personal experience. Apparently, the Managing Director of the travel agent I went with was so impressed with the write-up and publicity I had given them, he's letting me shoot their upcoming trip to China covering Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou from Dec 8-16. This is going to be quite a trip given the weather conditions this time of the year!
